Guy Facey is an English and Hong Kong solicitor with over 30 years’ experience. He trained at Lovells, a tier one global law firm in London. He has twice been an in-house counsel in listed aerospace and automotive engineering groups, and he worked at the first mainland Chinese law firm in London.
As the founding partner of Facey & Associates in Hong Kong, Guy advises international investment companies and entrepreneurs on corporate deals (venture capital, fintech, blockchain, mergers & acquisitions, aircraft acquisition and leasing deals, joint ventures).

Robin Weir is an English solicitor and Foreign Legal consultant in the firm. He trained and qualified at Linklaters, a ‘magic circle’ law firm, in London. Before joining Facey & Associates he was a senior associate in the Shanghai office of US law firm Dorsey & Whitney, where he worked for over five years.
Robin advises international companies on doing business in mainland China, including acquisitions joint ventures and wholly foreign-owned enterprises and transformation and turnaround of failing businesses. He also acts for Hong Kong and Chinese companies doing business in the UK and USA.
Robin has also worked as a publisher and journalist. He was the founding editor of China Business Law Journal, a bilingual legal magazine established in 2009. He also worked in Beijing as senior China consultant with Hong Kong investment bank Crosby Corporate Advisory. He is the author of numerous articles on business and law in China, and related topics.

Robin has lived and worked in mainland China for more than 13 years and in Hong Kong for more than 6 years.

Nick Dealy is a partner in the firm and heads our Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. He is an English barrister (non-practising) and Hong Kong solicitor with more than 20 years’ experience in commercial and civil litigation, contractual disputes and financial services regulatory investigations. Previously, Nick has been inhouse counsel at international bank UBS where he headed the Litigation & Investigations team in the Asia Pacific Region. He has most recently been a partner at a Hong Kong firm of solicitors focusing on dispute work.

Nick acts for individuals and corporates in a broad range of commercial dispute work and contentious regulatory matters. He has significant experience in advising on the mis-selling of financial products, cybercrime, and on SFC, HKMA and ICAC investigations. Nick also leads the firm’s contentious employment practice, acting for both employers and employees.
